We love Dr. Meaghan and her staff! My kids have been going here since it opened. We love their dental and orthodontist work. My daughter and son have “smiles that pop” because of this incredible place.

Just as a pediatrician knows the specific needs of your child’s overall health, a pediatric dentist understands the specific needs of your child’s dental health. Pediatric dentists complete an additional 2-3 year residency after dental school just to learn the ins and outs of pediatric-specific dental issues. They are particularly trained in the understanding of the personalities of young people and in creating an environment where they can be comfortable and easily receive excellent dental care.
“Thanks, Dad!”
For the first 9 years of her career, Dr. Meaghan worked alongside her pediatric dentist dad. He was an innovator in creating great dental experiences for children.
“I was just fortunate enough to be able to follow in his awesome footsteps. He built his amazing practice based on love and respect for kids – he only ever did what was GOOD for his patients. He did all the good things, and everyone loved him. And they still do! I have learned so many things from him – far too many to list here. But I want everyone to know where I came from. Because I am so PROUD of that.”
Dr. Meaghan Kindregan is a Georgia native and did most of her growing up right around the corner in Alpharetta! She attended the University of Georgia and has been bleeding red and black ever since. After four awesome years in Athens, she was excited to start dental school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Dr. Meaghan hit the marriage jackpot after her first year of dental school and wed her cutie-patootie husband, Patrick. After graduation, she attended the 2-year specialty pediatric residency program at the University of Florida where she promptly had her first baby!
Dr. Meaghan considers herself abundantly blessed. Among her biggest blessings are her husband, Patrick, and their two red-headed little girls, Ava and Bella. They are dog lovers and have a golden retriever (lovingly referred to as Kirby the Smile Pop Pup)! She is also a true foodie and could eat tacos and cheese dip for the rest of time. When she has a few extra minutes, she enjoys listening to podcasts, spending time on the lake, and Crossfit. She can’t wait to meet you!
Dr. Williams grew up as an army brat, but affectionately calls Atlanta home. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana. She went on to dental school at The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. Following graduation, she completed her advanced pediatric specialty training at the University of California - Los Angeles, where she served as Chief Resident and earned a master’s degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Community Health Sciences.
She loves spending time with her oral surgeon husband and their new baby boy. She also enjoys traveling, watching movies, cooking, and hanging out with her fur baby, Sophia.
Dr. Francesca Whalen is our orthodontist here at Smile Pop, and she provides comprehensive orthodontic care to kids, teens, and adults of all ages.
Dr. Francesca is a Georgia native who left home to complete her undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame. But she couldn’t stay away for long, as she attended dental school at the Medical College of Georgia where she graduated first in her class! (Smartie Pants 😉) Adding one more state to the mix, she completed her Orthodontic residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
She is happily married to her husband Brendan, and they have three young boys and a pup who keep them very busy! Her family is Italian and she (along with her husband and 3 sons) travels to Italy to visit with family regularly. Yes, she does speak Italian. She loves to cook, travel, bike, and cheer on the University of Notre Dame!
